Agency9s spelmotor, kärnan i informationstjänst hos Linköpings kommun

Linköpings kommun lanserar idag en ny revolutionerande karttjänst till sina invånare baserad på Agency9s 3D kartlösning. Ambitionen med den nya tekniken är att skapa ett digitalt Linköping i 3D. Allt för att förbättra, underlätta och modernisera kommunens kontakt med medborgare och intressenter samt utveckla kommunens stadsplanering och förvaltning av information om staden.

Tjänsten som finns på kommunens hemsida utnyttjar senaste 3D teknologin baserad på Agency9s lösning 3DMaps. Kommuninvånare kan nu lätt hitta information om kommunens tjänster och intressanta platser men kan också med enkelhet hitta information om fastigheter och nya byggprojekt inom kommunen. Som en del av kommunens kulturkampanj ”Vinterljus” kan användaren flyga runt i kartan och dyka in i så kallade ”360”-foton.  Fördelen för användaren med 3-dimensionell karta är att det är lättare att känna igen sig, det blir tydligare och man lockas att utforska kartan mer än i en traditionell 2D karta. Agency9s webbaserade lösning 3DMaps används redan i stordrift av hitta.se i deras söktjänst i 3D-kartan. Tjänsten har fått positiva omdömen av användare och visar på en tydlig ökning i tid som användaren utforskar kartan, en viktig parameter för webblösningar.

Agency9 lanserar en svit av tilläggsmoduler till 3DMaps anpassade för kommuners tjänster för att öka tillgänglighet och tydlighet i kommunikation av:

• nybyggnadsprojekt och visioner
• översiktkarta av kommunen
• bygglovprocesser med sikt/skuggstudier
• turistinformation
• information om platser och fastigheter (från fastighetsregister)
• dialog kring projekt, rapportering av klotter, skadegörelse och insamling av allmänna synpunkter

Ett flertal kommuner har påbörjat projekt med Agency9 och dessa e-tjänster.

Agency9s 3DMaps adresserar krav definierade i regeringens  projekt för e-förvaltning, som drivs av  kommun- och finansmarknadsminister Mats Odell, att öka kvalitet och effektivitet i leverans av tjänster till medborgare.

E-förvaltning är även ett prioriterat projekt inom Europiska Unionen med en ministerdeklaration nyligen underskriven som befäster ambitionen att stimulera införande av e-tjänster i medlemsländerna.

Today 24 November 2008 a new style of personalized real-time 3D messages, Madlix 3DGreetings, is launched. The timing is excellent since Christmas and New Year’s is approaching, the time of year when most greetings are shared.

Mobile users worldwide download greetings from content portals, especially at Christmas and New Year’s holidays, to share with friends and family. This year Agency9 offers a new type of 3D enhanced greetings, Madlix 3DGreetings. The application is unique in its use of real-time 3D models allowing the user to freely rotate, zoom and move the model to any wanted position. Agency9 makes reality even more real

Stockholm, 29 May 2008 – Today marks the launch by the young Swedish growth company Agency9 of its 3D map function for the Schipsted company hitta.se. The application on which the function is built – 3DMaps™ EX – gives the user complete control over the camera, enabling continuous movement in the map image – left/right, zoom in/out and inclination – as the user wishes.

With the technology that has been available until now, namely 2D and so-called 2.5D (2D with angling for a 3D effect), the user has only been able to move in two directions across the map up/down and right/left. With 3DMaps EX, the user can now select the required position, inclination, compass point and zoom level – all at the same time.

Agency9 CEO Khashayar Farmanbar explains: “We have come up with a product that provides a completely unique type of user experience for visitors to hitta.se. Users will be able to look around in the map and freely pan around buildings and surroundings, giving them a sense of familiarity. 2D navigation can never create the same impression, which significantly limits the user.”

The new service, hitta.se 3D, builds on 3DMaps EX and can be used by all web readers that support Java. No plug-ins are required in order to use the map service. 3DMaps EX supports 2D and 3D data, as well as combinations of the two. For early use of 3D data Agency9 work closely with C3 Technologies. 3DMaps EX can be easily adapted to different types of businesses and requirements and is simple to integrate with information about weather, traffic conditions or objects for sale.
